Wantagh chamber. We meet on the second Thursday of
every month at 10am. Bellmore Presbyterian Church,
2740 Martin Ave., Bellmore. We’re a non-profi t group
sharing ideas while participating in various projects:

ADELPHI NYS BREAST CANCER HOTLINE &
SUPPORT PROGRAM
The Adelphi NY Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline &
Support Program today expanded its breast cancer
hotline capabilities by adding text messaging. People
who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and are
experiencing diffi culty navigating the health system,
looking for vital community resources, or want to connect,
can text 516.262.3263. A social worker will reply
and let callers know when they will receive a phone
call. Nina Foley, Hotline/Volunteer Coordinator, states,
“Integrating a texting feature into our hotline enhances
accessibility for individuals affected by breast cancer,
facilitating prompt communication and addressing
their needs effi ciently.” In addition, New Yorkers can
always call the toll-free hotline at 800.877.8077. All
services are completely free and confi dential.
