What we offer
The Inner Spirit Yoga Center first opened in April of 1999 in Northport above The Chiropractic and Wellness Center on Fort Salonga Rd. Less than a year and half later the center outgrew its space. Now it resides at 24 Vernon Valley Road in East Northport and is owned by Roni Yaari. Over the years the center has grown even more. We now have separate studios for yoga and dance. The lotus room, so named for the flower on the yoga room wall, has a calming feeling perfect for yoga practice. The goddess room, which is located next door to the original Yoga Center building, is our dance studio. It has smooth hardwood floors and mirrors down one wall to give our students a genuine dance space. The center’s mission is to create a strong sense of community both for the town as well as for each and every student that comes to experience what is offered. It is a place of peace, fun and kinship. De-stressing, stretching and relaxation are an integral part of our community experience as well as a friendly environment where you can meet new people. Every weekday the Center hosts Yoga and Bellydance classes with lots of weekend workshops and events. We recently began our Inspirational Movie Night, hosted by one of our very own students! The first Saturday of the month you are welcome to join us for a pot-luck dinner followed by an inspirational movie and discussion. We also have a monthly Partner Yoga class. The Inner Spirit Yoga Center is committed to bringing people together though our classes. We have family-oriented programs like Family Yoga, Mommy & Me yoga and Gentle Yoga for Women which includes Pre-natal women. Our bellydance classes are for people of all experience levels. Don't be afraid to jump in and try it out. We also have other classes like Tai Chi, Zumba, Cardio Karma and Nite-Club Dancing (It's like going to a club where you don't have to worry about doing your hair and makeup!)
