To significantly reduce health insurance costs, I suggest:
- Force all insurance companies to become non-profit organizations.
- Ban all prescription drugs from advertising in all forms of the media! If a doctor has to prescribe it, why spend millions of dollars to advertise them to non-users?
- Outlaw doctors from accepting gifts (e.g., free vacations, dinners, events tickets, etc.) to promote any prescription drugs or medical devices.
- Above all, compel all medical insurance, drug companies, hospitals and doctors to print the amount of profit they are making in operations, hospital stays, machines, etc. If the medical industry won’t cooperate voluntarily, then “we the people” must seek to institute appropriate laws requiring them to!
